HHCC lost to Epsom Methodists by 64 runs.

The Hill bowled Epsom out for 138 which considering they were 101-5 after 20 overs shows how our depth of bowling options from a young team did us proud.

Special mention for:

Will Bush 2 for 13 off 6 overs with a maiden

Ollie Blackshire in his first senior game with 1-16 off 5 overs 

Toby Reid 1-3 off 3 overs

Max McGregor behind the stumps, very tidy especially down the leg side (at the start he thought about maybe doing 20 then swapping out, but stayed for all 35 and took a good catch)

Alec Barry with 2 wickets he had a hattrick ball that unfortunately went for 6!

Batting wise we were all out for 70 with extras being the top scorer.

The four old boys at the top of the order fell cheaply leaving it to the youngsters to chip away with some good defensive technique Again kudos to Messrs Bush, Blackshire and McGregor with Exworth of the W variety throwing his bat around for the cause.

Young Will Bush and old Simon Whitehead have some scars to take away putting body on the line to stop runs.
