Welcome to Junior Cricket at Hampton Hill Cricket Club
The club’s junior cricket philosophy is based on giving every kid the best chance to enjoy the game.
Our coaches are passionate about developing great cricketers, encouraging teamwork, sporting friendships and making sure every kid enjoys the game whatever the level they play at.
We start with an U4 pre school group (the child must be starting Reception in September 2025) moving through the age groups to our U19 side.
Boys and girls train and play together in the younger age groups. When they are older we offer girls-only cricket alongside the mixed sides.
Our coaches are ECB (England Cricket Board) accredited and offer a mixture of high-quality coaching and an understanding of how to make cricket fun and engaging. Our kids go on to play at a high standard – from regional teams through to junior county cricket.
The club also runs a variety of senior sides, with our 1st XI playing at a high standard in the Surrey Championship.
When and where
- We run training on Sundays - starting on Sunday 27th April 2025 running through to late July
- We have mixed gender age groups starting at U4 - for this age group the child needs to be starting Reception in September 2025. In the U4 age group we ask that adults stay with their child throughout the session.
- The kids train for an hour and a half, 1030am-12pm (for U4-U9) at Hampton Hill Cricket Club in Bushy Park - access via the gate behind Sainsburys on the High Street
- From U8 we run matches which take place at home (Bushy Park and Carlisle Park) and away on week nights and weekends
